Component-level work needs hot-air rework stations, IR preheaters, microscopes, and a chip-reballing rig — Kepong is the only SPR location with the full setup and the technicians trained on it. When a smaller branch identifies a board-level fault during free diagnosis, the unit ships to Kepong for the actual repair, then ships back. Customers can also walk into Kepong directly for any motherboard case.
Q.02Can I bring an iPhone from any branch's repair to Kepong for warranty?
Yes — every SPR repair across all 16 branches carries the same 6-month warranty, honoured at any branch including Kepong. Bring the original receipt and we look up the repair in our system. For motherboard repairs that originated at Kepong, warranty work happens here.
