The pickup-and-repair years
Before SPR existed, Jason travelled between phone shops daily collecting broken phones, repaired them at home and delivered them back to customers in person. Back then, most phone shops didn't have real repair capability.

2015
First SPR workshop opens
The first SPR direct-operated workshop officially opens. The reason was simple: change the long-standing problems of opaque pricing, slow turnaround and parts-trust in the phone repair industry. Back then, most shops focused on selling phones — brands truly dedicated to "repair service" were rare.

Technician → enterprise
SPR spent several years building brand, team and systems. Beyond repair craft, the company started learning brand building, customer service, team management, marketing and standardised operations. From a single repair workshop, it grew into a systematised enterprise.

SPR completed its first brand upgrade and systems-level reorganisation. Through digital marketing, standardised operations and team building, SPR entered a phase of rapid growth.

SPR has built a complete repair ecosystem: 16 direct-operated workshops, 90+ team members, the SPR Technical Academy, 300+ B2B partners, advanced motherboard and display repair systems, Malaysia Book of Records, and Malaysia's first smartphone repair chain franchise operator. Every workshop runs on a direct-operated model, continuously pushing the industry toward standardisation and systemisation.
