Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the websites, repair services, retail services, training programmes and customer support channels operated by SPR Communication Sdn Bhd, SSM 1194360-A (“SPR”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By using our services, visiting our outlets, or contacting us through any of our messaging channels, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

SPR Communication Sdn Bhd is a company incorporated in Malaysia and a KUSKOP registered franchisor. We operate 16 smartphone repair outlets across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, and we also sell mobile devices and accessories, provide business-to-business repair services, and run repair training programmes through SPR Academy.

Repair services for smartphones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches and related electronic devices, including screen replacement, battery replacement, LCD and green line repair, motherboard repair, charging port repair, water damage recovery and software services.

Sale of new and pre-owned mobile devices, spare parts and accessories.

Business-to-business repair services for dealers and corporate clients.

Repair training and certification programmes.

Customer support through our websites, telephone, and messaging channels including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and Instagram Direct Messages.

All prices quoted through our websites, messaging channels or automated assistants are estimates based on the information you provide. A final price is confirmed only after our technician has physically inspected your device. We provide free diagnosis and a quote before any repair is carried out.

Prices are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are subject to change without prior notice. Where applicable, prices are inclusive of any tax required by Malaysian law.

If, during repair, we discover a fault that was not covered by the original quotation, we will contact you for approval before carrying out any additional work or charging any additional amount.

Before handing your device to us, you are responsible for backing up all data stored on the device; removing or disabling any account lock, activation lock, MDM lock or similar security feature that would prevent us from testing the device; and removing any SIM card, memory card or personal accessory that you do not wish to leave with us.

We take reasonable care of every device in our possession. However, repair of electronic devices carries inherent risk, and we are not liable for loss of data stored on a device. Where a device is already non-functional, water damaged, or has been previously opened or repaired by a third party, we may decline the repair or proceed only after you accept a stated risk.

Devices left uncollected for more than ninety (90) days after we notify you that the repair is complete may be disposed of, and any outstanding charges remain payable.

Repairs carried out by SPR carry a warranty for the period stated on your invoice or repair order. Our standard warranty period is six (6) months, although the period varies depending on the type of repair and the parts used.

The warranty covers defects in the parts we supplied and in our workmanship. It does not cover physical or impact damage, or damage caused after the repair; liquid damage occurring after the repair; damage caused by unauthorised repair, opening, or modification by any party other than SPR; software issues or issues unrelated to the original repair; or normal wear and tear.

Warranty claims must be supported by the original invoice or repair order.

Payment is due upon collection of the device unless otherwise agreed. We accept cash, bank transfer, card payment and approved e-wallet payments.

A deposit may be required before we order parts for your repair. Deposits for special-order parts may be non-refundable if the part has already been ordered.

You may contact us through WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct Messages, or the contact forms on our websites. When you send us a message through any of these channels, your message and any attachment you send are received by our internal customer service platform and are visible to authorised SPR employees; we may use an automated assistant to prepare or send a first response; and we retain the conversation so that our team can follow up on your enquiry and maintain a record of the service provided to you.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, including messages received through these channels, at any time. The procedure is set out in section 7 of that policy.

Automated responses are provided for convenience and information only. Where an automated response conflicts with a written quotation or invoice issued by an SPR outlet, the written document prevails.

Please do not send payment card numbers, passwords, or identification documents through messaging channels.

You agree not to use our services or messaging channels to send unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory or fraudulent content, to impersonate another person, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems. We may decline service and block a contact that breaches this clause.

All content on our websites, including text, images, logos and trade marks, is owned by SPR Communication Sdn Bhd or licensed to us, and may not be reproduced without our written permission.

SPR is an independent smartphone repair service provider. iPhone, iPad and MacBook are trademarks of Apple Inc. Samsung Galaxy is a trademark of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, OnePlus and Realme are trademarks of their respective owners. Google Pixel is a trademark of Google LLC. We are not affiliated with these manufacturers.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.sprmalaysia.com/privacy-policy/. We handle personal data in compliance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). By using our services you agree to that policy.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update shown at the top. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
