The cell is much larger and is glued under the display across a thin panel, so the careful part is removing the screen and old battery without cracking the laminated glass or bending the aluminium frame. It's more labour and more risk than an iPhone, which is built to open more easily. We quote it honestly per model after confirming whether your display is laminated.
Almost certainly. A swollen battery underneath pushes the display up from inside, which shows as a lifting edge or a gap. Stop charging it, don't press the screen back down, and bring it in powered off — a swollen lithium cell is a fire risk if punctured. A battery replacement resolves it.
