On many iPads the charging port is soldered to the logic board (not a simple plug-in flex like older iPhones), so a port replacement is board-level micro-soldering at our Kepong HQ — more involved, and we tell you upfront when that's the case. If charging still fails after a known-good cable, a clean and a sound port, the cause is the charging IC on the board, which we diagnose and repair at board level. We always separate a charging fault (the port) from a battery fault (holds no charge) first, so you don't pay for the wrong repair, and the diagnosis is free.
