  • Clean the speaker mesh and the charging contacts of the quiet pod with a dry soft brush — a huge share of 'one quiet pod' faults are just earwax, and a careful clean restores them.
  • Wipe the charging contacts at the bottom of the pod and inside the case well — grime there mimics a dead pod that won't charge.
  • Reset the AirPods (hold the case button ~15 seconds until amber, then re-pair) — clears connection-only faults where one pod 'drops'.
  • Note whether it's audio, charging or connection that fails, and which pod — it points cleaning vs battery vs board.
