Counter-level: 2–4 hours for most Series and SE models. Apple Watch screens are bonded with strong adhesive; we use heat-controlled disassembly to lift the display without damaging the digitiser cable, Force Touch flex (older models), or ambient sensor cluster. Closed back up with fresh OEM-spec adhesive — this does not bring the factory water resistance back. Workshop-level (Kepong HQ): Ultra 1 and Ultra 2 take longer (4–6 hours) because the titanium bezel and sapphire front have to come apart slowly without cracking the crystal, and the Action Button and dive-mode sensor cluster need handling.
